So.... what's Ho'oponopono, you ask?
Don't be frightened by this 11 letter name, but indulge us for a moment while we tell you of an ancient healing practice that stems from the lush Islands of Hawaii.
Ho'oponopono is an age-old method of problem solving. Originally, families would sit together and practice this technique until every issue was resolved (which sometimes meant hours of "quality time"....) Later though, the Hawaiian Kahuna (healer) Morrnah Simeona, refined the practice to be utilized by the individual.
The concept of Ho'oponopono is such that each person is responsible for their life experience, and in accepting all that currently is, one can make peace with themselves and thus foster peace in the world.
Johanna attended Mabel Katz's Peace Initiative in the UN headquarters of Vienna, Austria one summer. Sufficed to say, it changed her life on many levels.
Ho'oponopono isn't easily explained, which is quite ironic, since there's nothing complicated about the practice at all. This is because to many, this practice might seem too easy. A lot of you may consider this idea too far-fetched, and that's okay. However, we know from incredible experiences just how transforming Ho'oponopono truly is. If you are willing to try it out, we encourage you to do so with an open mind and heart.
